How do I create a compelling profile?

A great profile includes recent photos that show your personality, a bio that describes your musical interests and goals, and an audio sample that showcases your style. Be authentic and specific about what kind of musical collaboration you're looking for.

How does the matching system work?

Our matching algorithm considers your musical preferences, location, experience level, and collaboration goals. When you swipe right on someone who also swipes right on you, it creates a match and you can start messaging.

What audio formats can I upload?

You can upload MP3, WAV, M4A, and other common audio formats. Audio samples should be 30 seconds or less and showcase your musical style. Make sure you have the rights to any audio you upload.

Is Bander free to use?

Bander offers both free and premium features. The basic matching and messaging features are free. Premium features may include additional swipes, enhanced profile visibility, and advanced filtering options.

How can I report inappropriate behavior?

If you encounter inappropriate behavior, harassment, or content that violates our community guidelines, please report it immediately by emailing us at support@getbander.com with details about the incident.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can permanently delete your account at any time through your account settings. Before deletion, you can export all your data for your records.

What gets deleted: Your profile, photos, audio samples, messages, matches, preferences, and all associated data are permanently removed from our platform within 30 days.

Data export: Before deleting, you can download a complete copy of your data in JSON format, including your profile information, match history, and message summaries (GDPR compliant).

⚠️ Important: Account deletion cannot be undone. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep it.
